This article is meant to be a little 'big brother' chat about what to do when technology fails us. I must admit I am a bit guilty of saying "computers are annoying" and moving onto something much less 21st century when computers or the internet fails me. I think it is because I have not had any true formal training on computers or the internet - it was all just something I learned through trial and error myself. And ironically it is part of my job to teach children how to use computers and the internet! I can certianly get myself around just fine, but I am of the habit or belief that if it doesn't work for me that I will leave it behind. I must, as is mentioned in this article, figure out how to keep going and stay clam about my online learning so that I don't act like some students who say "this is hard... I hate it!"
